Lactation Support

Breastfeeding has so many benefits for both parent and child. Although it is one of the most natural, healthful ways to feed and care for your newborn, it is a skill that must be learned by both. Think of it as a dance between two new and inexperienced partners.

In the past, breastfeeding wisdom was passed down from generations. As the popularity of formula grew, more and more parents chose formula feeding over breastfeeding causing a huge gap in that ancient wisdom.

Today, as additional medical information is uncovered about the overwhelming health, environmental and economical benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding rates are on the rise. However, much of that breastfeeding wisdom that was passed on, has been lost. That's where we come in.

In the comfort of your own home, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) will come to you when things might not be going as planned. Whether you are having pain, baby is gaining slowly or you just have questions and need reassurance that breastfeeding is going well, we are there to walk you through.
